Woodscape were awarded the contract from Carillion Construction Services to design, build and install bespoke street furniture, from the initial concept designed by Planit-IE Landscape Architects for First Street development.
First Street is a compelling blend of culture, leisure, retail and office space, located in Manchester city centre. Stretching out over 20 acres of city centre heartland, First Street is Manchester’s most significant sustainable and regeneration development. This premium multi-media cultural scheme will be the first piece of city designed to connect artistic creativity, with business and enterprise.
Phase 1
Eight EVO Seats have been installed at First Street, creating a vibrant urban space for both residents and workers to enjoy.
This new urban street furniture range comprises of FSC® certified Naturally Very Durable Hardwood, granite, and stainless steel, combining contemporary aesthetics and strong defined lines, making it stand out in terms of form and function.
Phase 2
The Seating Steps are a bespoke product created specifically for First Street. Designed and manufactured in the UK, made from FSC certified Naturally Very Durable Hardwood, granite, and a steel substructure, this highlights the different materials that Woodscape now offer.
Woodscape products are manufactured from Naturally Very Durable Hardwoods, sourced from sustainable forests, as standard. As an FSC certified supplier we can manufacture our products using FSC certified timber as required.
