TIGERTURF CELEBRATES 15 YEARS OF BUSINESS

Leading artificial turf manufacturer, TigerTurf, is celebrating 15 years of success in the UK, amid what has already been an active year for the business, with a series of investments in its research, development and sales functions.

As part of its ongoing commitment to research and development, TigerTurf has added two new members to its Research and Development team and enhanced its production facilities with the purchase of new machinery which will enrich the TigerTurf offering across all sectors of artificial turf flooring.

The business has also boosted its sales team with the addition of several new members. Former semi-professional footballer and Sport and Exercise Science graduate Luke McDonald joins TigerTurf as a Sales Executive, while Roy Lavery, Louise Bush and Andy Norman have been appointed as Sales Managers.

Roy boasts extensive experience in technical and consultative sales of artificial turf, and has key new business skills which will be of benefit to the business.

With her background in Research and Development, Louise is well-placed to sell products for the right applications and she moves on to a new role within TigerTurf after a very successful period as Logistics Manager.

Andy takes up his new role after 14 years as County Football Development Manager for the Worcestershire FA, where he was responsible for football facility development, working with the Football Foundation and other funding partners on various facility projects including the county’s first five synthetic grass pitches.

Finally, TigerTurf has also announced the opening of its new Centre of Excellence. Located on the same site as the business’s existing Cursley warehouse, the standalone office will serve as a hub for customer service, marketing, finance and sales, with plans in place to create a state-of-the-art demonstration field on site.

Paul Langford, Managing Director at TigerTurf UK commented: “It is a fantastic achievement to be celebrating 15 years of business in the UK, during which time we have established ourselves as the country’s leading manufacturer of artificial grass across sport, landscape and leisure applications.

“We are delighted to be able to mark this significant milestone by providing opportunities for staff and developing TigerTurf’s facilities. The extra expertise gained across the business will help us to offer financial, environmental and time-savings benefit to customers through our products as we aim to stay at the forefront of innovation and originality.”
