Our Rockwood Composite Decking range of products adds beauty and elegance to any Domestic or Commercial environment. It gives you the looks and feel of traditional timber decking but without the fuss.
Wood Plastic Composite (WPC) or “Composite” as it is often referred to, is a relatively new and evolving environmentally friendly material that utilises wood waste and recycled plastics – producing a range of attractive finished, and semi-finished products in varying surface styles that combine the look and feel of real hardwood with outstanding durability.
Rockwood Composite decking is the ideal alternative to traditional timber deck boards – providing you with a sound floor underfoot for all your outdoor relaxation and socialising activities.
Unlike traditional timber decking, Composite Decking is water resistant, will not rot, splinter or require painting or staining to retain its appearance. An important of the product, is that it does not promote algae growth and is slip resistant when wet.
Very quick to install and fix, the Composite deck boards are easy to handle, can be worked just like timber and do not require any specialist tools. The Composite Boards are simply secured to the sub structure with hidden fastening clips made from stainless steel or colour coded nylon. This leaves the deck surface free from unsightly fixing screws and the installation can be complimented by a range of matching finishing profiles and perimeter balustrades.
“The Rockwood Composite Boards are a fantastic product because they are not only easy to install but are also practically maintenance free,” says Steve Blacow, who runs the decking department. “Our standard Premier decking range comes in various colours – Charcoal, Light Grey, Dark Brown and Brownish Red and our Elite range comes in Charcoal, Graphite Grey, Stone Grey, Dark Brown, Brownish Red (Teak), Forest Green (Olive) and Natural Wood (Oak). It looks absolutely great when it’s down, our customers love it.”
Our Composite Decking Boards comes in two different styles. The Premier range has a multi grooved finish on one surface and a 5 grooved finish on the opposite side. The Elite range has a Deep Groove Embossed Wood Grain finish on its main surface.
