John Brash will be exhibiting at this year’s Landscape Show 23rd & 24th September at Battersea Park, London.
Timber Decking
The Landscape show will feature the innovative JB CitiDeck®, the sustainable anti-slip timber decking for inclusive urban environments, created specifically for the London 2012 venues.
JB CitiDeck® features two non-slip inserts with a white coloured aggregate and comes in both strength classes C16 and C24. JB CitiDeck is easy to clean and is treated by a new MicroPro treatment which is guaranteed for 25 years.
Western Red Cedar Shingles
Timber has always been one of nature’s more versatile, adaptable and attractive materials. Cedar, in particular, with its natural durability, is one of the most popular woods for building applications. The rich, warm colour and texture of cedar shingles and shakes can enhance the design of both traditional and modern structures, to create a truly individual building that blends naturally with the environment. The natural preservatives in the wood ensure lasting good looks, with the only effect of ageing and weathering being a gradual change in colour to an attractive silver grey.
New ‘clear’ timber treatment
The show will also be an opportunity to see the effect of a revolutionary micronised wood preservative technology, which has distinctive product features and advantages. MicroPro® is fundamentally different from current copper based systems, using micronised copper and organic co-biocides. Micronised timber looks different and offers many benefits, including:
- Low VOCs, setting new environment benchmarks
- Lighter, consistent “Natural” colour to the treated wood
- Improved leaching characteristics
- Improved corrosion protection for metal fasteners and hardware
- Greenguard Gold Certified
