Products from the premium woodcare range Sadolin have been selected as the primary choice for the transformation of a playground at a London school.

Sadolin Superdec and Sadolin Timber Stain have been used at the Sir James Barrie Primary School in Battersea, by students from Lambeth College, who are participating, on the Prince’s Trust programme.

Sadolin products have been used to rejuvenate a playground fence, which has been given a new lease of life as part of a project for the students’ course.

Sadolin Timber Stain has been used as a background to the designs, offering wax- enriched protection that will stand the test of time, with enhanced water resistance.

High quality pigments in the stain also provide protection from the damaging and discolouring effects of UV light.

Sadolin Timber Stain provided the canvas for the vibrant colours of Sadolin Superdec, introduced to give the fence a playful, eye-catching finish with cartoon animals, colourful lettering and blooming flowers.

With a wide range of over 300 tinted shades as well as three ready-mixed colours to choose from, Sadolin Superdec is the ideal product for projects looking for inspired colour choice.

Louise McNestrie, Prince’s Trust Team Leader at Lambeth College, said: “We’ve been working over the past few weeks to look at creative ways of updating the school’s playground fence and the results are amazing.

“The Sadolin products have created a real explosion of colour that has brightened up the children’s play area.”

Sharon Smith, Sadolin Brand Manager, said: “This is a delightful project which shows how Sadolin can deliver a decorative finish that protects wood for the long term.

“Sadolin Superdec, in particular, has superior colour retention, achieved by the use of specially selected light-filtering pigments to ensure longer lasting shades.

“Working with the community is really important and the work done by the Lambeth College students is fantastic.”
