Torc make everything by hand from their studio in the British Isles.

Working alongside a talented team of artisans this family run business really specializes in textures, scale and especially bespoke design. The design side of the business is getting busier all the time with landscape architects and garden designers alike realizing just how much expertise this company has to offer with a wealth of experience in design and problem solving to bring to the table.Torc welcome the opportunity be involved at the design stage and are happy to contribute ideas when asked. Frequently being commissioned to provide planter designs and outdoor furniture as a one-off template for both commercial and residential spaces. Launching their new contemporary shaped water bowl this month was a good example of how far they can go – the diameter of this little beauty can be offered up to 3m wide.

Torc are constantly striving to reduce the carbon footprint of their pots and planters.   An extremely durable product, long-lasting and similar in texture  to a traditional clay pot.   However, these pots are not being cured by using vast amounts of energy in ovens or furnaces but by hydration!    Many other measures are being implemented at Torc to ensure their green credentials are as good as they can be including using recycled glass, rainwater capture and a recently installed wash-bay reclamation system.   Not to mention using fully recycled bio-plastic made from bamboo for their packaging.

There is no doubt that this team are one to watch for the future … is there anything they can’t do? Torc appear to be just warming up!
