Furnitubes has now added RailRoad planters to the collection, which can be integrated with RailRoad seating to create stunning modular planter benches and seats that are perfect for a coordinated scheme.
RailRoad planters, like the seats, are designed to stand the test of time. Constructed in folded heavy section steel plate and finished in a polyester powder coated finish, they form a rigid, durable construction. The decorative timber top rim acts as a perfect visual foil to the plants, whilst also serving as an informal seating perch. As with the rest of the RailRoad street furniture collection, the planter is offered in a range of shape and size options.
RailRoad integrated seating & planters
With the simple addition of an appropriate connection bracket, RailRoad seating platforms can be mounted onto one or both ends of standard planters, or even all four sides of cubes. Planters can be used at the start /end or within a continuous seating run, to create corners where seating changes alignment, or even as a junction between 3 and 4-way seating directions. Planters are available in two standard heights – one to match the seating level for a seamless connection, and the other being taller so that the planters form deliberate separations between adjacent seats. The introduction of planters into a seating run creates a welcoming splash of colour into a scheme, and which people enjoy sitting alongside.
Independent RailRoad planters
The contemporary RailRoad planter is also available as a standalone item that is both attractive and functional in its own right. Although designed primarily for outdoor spaces, the planters can equally be used in an interior environment. The standard range comprises four standard plan sizes including one cube and three troughs, with each available in two standard height options, although we are also able to manufacture bespoke sizes to suit specific requirements.
