With a wide range of products within our portfolio we have seen the demand for creating ranges around niche markets. With growing groundwork and landscaping projects being taken on, we have developed a comprehensive range that tackles landscaping and outdoor maintenance. We offer, under the Drive Alive brand, surface treatments for paths, paving and driveways, including colour restorers for block paving, sealers for waterproofing patios and joint filling compounds for rapid pointing gaps in paved areas forming a stable, solid, permeable seal which reduces weed growth. Pot Hole Repairer makes quick work of filling in unsightly holes that cause damage and our Organic Cleaner gives users an environmentally safer alternative for eradicating mould growth. For general garden projects we also offer a 50gsm breathable weed membrane which controls weed growth whilst keeping the ground moist. The membrane will allow water and nutrients to penetrate the layer whilst suppressing the growth of weeds.
Under our Woodcare Range we have introduced a number of timber treatments for providing protection against the elements and wood boring insects. Coloured Wood Preservative, available in 4 colours, and our 3 in 1 Wood Treatment have been formulated without propiconozole, that penetrate deeply into the wooden substrates. Decking products, also part of the range, give users a system that will clean old decking of dirt and natural deposits and a barrier oil that restores natural oils lost through excessive weathering, providing a protective barrier against water penetration which can cause swelling and warping. The oil is resistant to UV light and will prevent mould and algae build-up, making on-going maintenance a simple operation.
Launched this Spring we introduced our new High Gloss Block Sealer. A ready-to-use colourless, solvent-based liquid for sealing paving, blocks and patios and stabilising sand joints. Once cured the liquid leaves the surface with a gloss, clear hard wearing finish which is resistant to chipping and peeling. It also enhances the colour of the substrate and providing long lasting protection against oil and water staining. Simple two-coat application by either brush, roller or squeegee, cures rapidly and will provide a long lasting protective finish for approximately 2 years.
To complete the gardening and landscaping products we also offer a variety of chemicals for cleaning under our Builders Complete range. Comprising Brick and Patio cleaners, Patio Blaster and Mould Stop products, they offer solutions to removing stains, mould, algae and lichen from a variety of substrates. And finally, for the ever popular artificial grass market we have a specially formulated hybrid adhesive, available in cartridge format, for bonding astro turf surfaces. Adheres to wet surfaces, it is solvent-free and odourless. Rapid curing time, even at low temperatures, it is non-shrinking and permanently elastic. Can also be used in conjunction with our rot resistant Seaming Tape (available in 200mm x 100m rolls).
