Meet the Designers

The industry’s most valuable trade show, LANDSCAPE is proud to announce that the ‘Meet the Designer’ sessions are returning for 2019. Building on the huge success of 2018 programme, LANDSCAPE has worked with the most popular professionals in the industry to put together four unique and truly insightful sessions.

Have you ever wondered how the biggest names in landscaping got to where they are today? This is your opportunity to get to know, and delve into, the lives of some of the most passionate Garden Designers.

Taking place at the Central Bar on Wednesday 18th September, this year’s line-up features:

Jonathan Snow – 11:15-11:30
Jonathan Snow began his professional career in the Armed Forces, serving from 1997 to 2001. A chance meeting with an old army colleague at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show one year had convinced him to enrol on the Garden Design course at Inchbald School of Design in 2005. How did he get to where he is today? Find out at his Meet the Designer session.

Charlotte Rowe – 12:30-12:45
Since Charlotte’s studio was established in 2004, she has designed over 200 gardens, landscapes and roof terraces in London, around the UK and internationally in both Europe and the United States. Explore her journey in landscaping during this Meeting the Designer session, and be equipped with some questions for her!

Kate Gould – 13:45-14:00
With a reputation for tackling small, complicated gardens and creating amazing outdoor havens, Kate has been designing award-winning gardens for over 20 years! Kate will be sharing her amazing love of plants, and offering the opportunity for questioning on how she got to where she is today.

James Alexander-Sinclair – 15:00-15:15
Well known writer, television presenter and speaker, James started out as a landscape contractor in London, before moving to the English countryside in 1992. James Alexander-Sinclair has since designed private and public gardens both large and small throughout the UK. Take the opportunity to find out more about James and his wealth of landscaping experience!
The Meet the Designer sessions will be held at the Central Bar between 11:15 and 15:15 so come along, relax, and speak to some major names in the industry.
