Sheffield based playground equipment manufacturer, Steel Line Ltd has introduced the first design of a stainless steel ALL- INCLUSIVE embankment slide which can be used by persons of limited mobility and wheelchair users.
It has been designed with special access provision at the entry point and similarly exit provision at the exit point and is double width so that a carer may accompany the user.
First clients for this product were CAPCO with an export order and Perth and Kinross Council who issued a statement. “ Perth & Kinross Council aims to provide a stimulating play environment in an attractively landscaped setting that is fun to use and include a range of active and imaginative play equipment for the full range of children who are likely to use it”
A policy which we are sure will be shared by local councils throughout the UK
The slide forms part of a range of playground, theme park and event slides including spiral, curved, single, double, triple and quadruple width slides produced by the company. Optional designs include tubular and semi-tubular.
