UK wildlife specialists, Wildlife World has recently appointed a qualified ecologist to assist in the company’s on-going growth. Ecologist Chantal Brown has joined the company to develop its position within the conservation and agricultural markets as well as providing ecological guidance on existing and future product ranges.
Chantal comes to Wildlife World with much experience in ecology and land management, having worked for the Wildfowl and Wetland Trust, London and Devon Wildlife Trust’s and the Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group for several years before establishing her own consultancy company in 2012. Chantal also holds many qualifications including a degree in Environmental Biology and Zoology, BASIS Soil and Water Management certificate and BASIS Agronomy foundation award, as well as a Barn Owl license which allows its holders to observe barn owns in their nesting places to provide information for development proposals.

In her new position, Chantal will be working with Wildlife World to develop and promote educational products into schools and will be setting up initiatives to work closely with teachers to provide knowledge of the company’s wildlife products and the benefits of encouraging wildlife into school gardens. Wildlife World has recently sponsored a competition run by a primary school in Surrey and is looking to complete similar projects with schools across the country.
Chantal will also be designing solitary bee products for the agricultural and orchard markets to promote the conservation of this beneficial and harmless pollinator while improving the profitability of the farm.
