Green-tech celebrates a fantastic start to 2015 with record turnover of over £4million in the first 4 months of the year.
As the Construction industry sees an upturn in productivity and many major new schemes are now underway, the award-winning national landscaping supplier Green-tech has reinforced this trend with the best start to the year in its 21 year history…
Green-tech now boasts a team of 50 and continues to go from strength to strength. The number of product lines it offers and stock holding makes it one of the largest landscape suppliers in the UK. Owners Richard and Rachel Kay are currently building a purpose made £2 million complex to house their expanding business; and will include offices, warehousing and distribution facilities, as well as additional offices and retail units that will be available for rental.
When asked the reason for their success, Head of Finance Richard Wall said:
“I think it’s a number of things; our customer service, range and availability of products and next day delivery service are just some of the reasons behind our success. We are a really proactive company, always looking forward and considering emerging trends when looking at our product range. We have great relationships with our suppliers and we always try to go the extra mile for our customers; whether that be meeting their tight and detailed delivery requirements or advising on the most appropriate product for their project. So, you can see, it’s the whole package that we offer.”
As well as its core landscaping supplies business, Green-tech’s family also includes Green-tree, their soils and growing media arm, John Chambers Wildflower Seeds, an independent supplier of British native wildflowers and gt Specifier, the division that works with landscape architects and specifiers offering technical support, advice and solutions for their landscaping projects.
Green-tech continues to lead the way in the landscape industry and was announced earlier this year as the headline sponsor of the 2015 BALI National Landscape Awards. Green-tech are hoping that their high profile and commitment to the industry may lead to a record year for the business.
