St Paul’s Place is a prestige development located in the Jewellery Quarter of Birmingham. When it comes to environment, Saint Paul’s Place brings something new. The Thomas Walker Building as it is known, is one of the most historic and recognised in the City. It is certainly a statement building, and has an equivocal right to be, as it almost entirely covers one block facing the square.
A feature of the development is an internal landscaped courtyard which the apartments look out onto. The landscape designers’ concept was to form flowing paths intersected by curved walls linked together with a series of curved benches.
Having contacted Benchmark with their needs, Centerline was an obvious choice as our seats could be produced to follow the exact radii of the sweeping curves of walls and paving layouts. 316 marine grade stainless steel was used throughout complimenting the railing and staircase of this development.
The end result is a tranquil communal courtyard in which the residents can sit and relax away from the bustle of the city for years to come.
